Capturing your requirements
Capturing your requirements is fundamental to a successful project. We understand that it can be difficult to know what is possible or how to achieve your objectives, but we can help. We have developed a range of consulting activities that enable us to pose direct and indirect questions to fully establish your needs and expectations. We will develop a clearly communicated Requirements document that will act as an effective framework when implementing any type of security system or service.
Depending on the project scope our activity may result in the following deliverables:
- Operational Requirement (OR) - used for all types of security-improvement project
- Functional Requirements - used mainly for technology-based projects
- Non-Functional Requirements - used mainly for technology-based projects
How we help
Conducting the Operational, Functional or Non-Functional Requirements development process will allow identification of ‘gaps’ in the business's current security measures and articulate their particular security needs. It facilitates a structured and considered process and helps guide design and service development. As matters progress the Requirements documents are valuable reminders of why certain decisions have been taken while also mapping out the path required to address particular threats and risks.
