Addressing lack of security awareness - Assisting a leading oil field service provider to curb needless vulnerabilities

A senior security manager had concerns about employees' security awareness after overhearing company confidential information being openly discussed in local bars and cafés near the client site. There were also doubts about employees' willingness to identify and challenge visitors, in contravention of the company's badge-wearing policy. After consultation with the client, it was agreed that CornerStone would send security consultants to observe and report on reactions that would be triggered by the consultants' behaviours. The information collected helped security managers identify which policies and physical security equipment were producing good (or bad) outcomes and make adjustments accordingly.
