Our commitment to training is demonstrated by the development of the CornerStone Academy. Having opened in 2018, it has grown to become a strategically important part of our proposition and now helps keep us at the top of our profession. We have invested heavily in this unique initiative that currently offers over 80 modules/courses delivered through a blend of classroom and cloud-based learning.
Our Academy Learning Management System is also used to support our structured induction process for new team members and all staff have access to our comprehensive training and development programme which is underpinned through a partnership with the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Security Institute.
We have always considered our employees to be the lifeblood of our business and we’ve become rather good at finding and developing the best in the business. Our recruitment is handled in-house to ensure alignment with our values and culture and we place education and personal development at the top of our ‘people’ orientated agenda.
In additional to our comprehensive training and professional development programme there's lots of support in other ways as well. Two mental health first aiders offer pastoral care from within the business and there's also 24 hour access to an online GP service, available for staff and their immediate families wherever they are in the world. All staff receive 24/7 personal accident cover and when traveling for business there's a package of support provided to ensure that everyone's travel experience is safe and secure.
